It was a beautiful day for a wedding, and a beautiful wedding it was. Totally out of character, I didn’t snap many pics, but I did take this one of the ceremony site before it all began. Sometimes, it’s in the quiet moments of a day, a place, a person, when we remember love embodies all of us. This world is made of love, each of us is made of love and even when times are rough, love is in the cracks and shadows, waiting to be remembered. The love on this beach yesterday was palpable. I could feel it deep in my bones and fluttering about on my skin. I could see it in so many wet eyes and smiling faces. We are at our best when we hold each other up. Watching friends be held in love as they start their journey of marriage, was an honor. So here is to the quiet moments, to the loud moments, to the moments where you feel love could carry you to the moon and for those when you have to look for it in the cracks and the shadows. May we always remember there is more than enough to go around and that we are our truest selves when love is our guide. For our friends, may your love be as big as the great blue sky on your wedding day so that you will easily be able to share it, to find it when it seems lost, and be carried by it through this precious world.
